Beer/Liquor nutrition info

We're having technical difficulties with our Web site, so I thought I'd post you the info that ran in this week's column. I suppose there really is no way to drink healthy, but it's always kinda interesting to see the numbers on what you're drinking. I was most surprised to see that Bud Select has less calories but more alcohol than Bud Light. Interesting.

Budweiser: 145 calories, 10.6 carbs, 5% alcohol
Bud Light: 110 calories, 6.6 carbs, 4.2% alcohol
Bud Select: 99 calories, 3.1 carbs, 4.3% alcohol
Miller Light: 96 calories, 3.2 carbs, 4.2% alcohol
Michelob Ultra: 95 calories, 2.6 carbs, 4.2% alcohol
Corona Light: 105 calories, 5 carbs, 4.1% alcohol

Bass Ale: 140 calories, 13 carbs, 5.5% alcohol
Guinness: 126 calories, 10 carbs, 4% alcohol

Love how my Guiness is more "nutritious" than Bud. However, it gets much worse by the time I add my shot of Chambord (almost gives the beer a chocolatey taste).

While white spirits are the way to go (and I do drink them), I will NEVER give up my glass of bourbon relaxation.
